- To achieve the award a contractor must have exceptional quality, timeliness of service, thorough documentation and stellar customer service.
All completed projects are inspected, and graded by a Duro-Last Quality Assurance Tech Rep before a warranty is issued
- Duro-Last Quality Assurance Tech Reps generate an inspection report with a score (highest score being 100).
- After the roof is warrantied, MacDermott provides customers with a close out packet of information including the Warranty, Project Overview, Care and Maintenance Guide and more.
The Duro-Last warranty is No-Dollar Limit (NDL) that covers material and craftsmanship (labor) for issues requiring attention that fall within the parameters of the warranty
- Other manufacturer warranties may only limit the warranty to material defects and not craftsmanship or have a dollar limit.
Duro-Last has a three level program (Master, Elite & Platinum)
- This recognizes Duro-Last authorized contractors who have a strong record of Duro-Last sales and consistently install Duro-Last roofing systems with exceptional attention to quality. For 2024 MacDermott was recognized as a Platinum Contractor which is the highest level of the three level program placing us within the top 3% of all Duro-Last contractors nationwide.
To qualify a contractor must:
- Install a minimum of five commercial jobs within the calendar year (MacDermott installed 60 commercial jobs).
- Total combined square footage installed for the calendar year must be a minimum of 500,000 square feet. (MacDermott installed 623,998 square feet).
- The average grade of all commercial installations combined must be 95 or above. (MacDermott’s average score was 97).
